Mirror Mirror on the Wall... What we don't like in others, we need to change in ourselves..

In the last week I have been shown time and time again, that what is happening "to us" is always mirroring what is going on inside of us..

I have been evaluating in my own life this very pattern...

I have an issue that I am working on about my children - they have an issue with yelling and loud, strict, direct voices...

My two little ones (6 & 9yrs old) express to me time and time again that they HATE yelling or loud voices and this is one of the things that upsets

them when either their father or I yell, or their teachers yell (funnily enough they both have teachers that have LOUD voices - triggering them

tremendously..)

I can see that they are attracting this "yelling & loud voices" into their lives for a purpose of growth, so I have decided to look into it..

Why do they detest yelling so much?

Do they feel threatened? Fear for safety?

When I asked little 6 yr old, he said "It hurts my ears"

I thought "Fair enough"

But then on the weekend I had a chat with hubby and expressed to him that he was becoming a cranky old man and moody and that I didn't like it.

So he said "Ok, so when I am cranky, just wave your hands in front of my face and laugh."

I thought "AWESOME!!!"

Then as the day went on, I was getting really tired and trying to get all my family sorted for the week ahead..

What I found, is that HE was doing the waving and laughing in MY face.. about 5 times that very night!!!

I was shocked!!

OMG!!! "I" was the one who was cranky...

I wasn't needing to do it to him.. he was doing it to me!

And the "waving in the face" actually makes you stop...

I was dumbfounded...

I was the one that needed to change...

When "I" change...my external life will change..

Then just this morning, I was in my office reflecting on this as the kids were getting ready for school..

I decided to use this analogy with the kids not liking yelling or loud voices..

As I sat there, listening to them getting ready...guess what???

Those two little ones WERE YELLING AND SCREAMING THE LOUDEST!!!!

WOW!! This is soooo true!

What we don't like in ourselves, we don't like in others!

So now I know that I am to work on how they see themselves...

Why do they yell and scream?

What are they trying to achieve by doing this?

And going into their psyche around yelling and screaming - what it means to them and how it helps them?

But also how they feel when they realise that they in fact are the screamers!!!

Because when we don't like something in someone else, and we are actually the one's who are the culprits, it creates a level of self hate

(subconsciously) and self esteem/confidence issues.. If we subsconsciously don't like this behaviour trait in another, it means we don't like it in us as

 well.

So look at where you are being triggered...

Where in your family, friends or acquaintences groups do you "not like" something about someone..

Usually the message isn't as clear as my examples above..

But they will ALWAYS tell us more about ourselves...

Our energy will always emit a certain frequency vibrating on the same level as that behaviour to attract that person into our reality..

And look at triggers as blessings..

"Thank you (annoying person) for coming into my life and helping me find out more about myself!"

There is always a message fron every annoying person who has come into your awareness..

You may also find that there is a pattern around the type of people you are attracting..

They are all messages for you..

If the message isn't clear (or it doesn't resonate that YOU are reflecting the same energy as that person)..

There will always be something in it ABOUT YOU...

Look at what it is about their behaviour you don't like..

You will see that this behaviour is something that you "try hard" not to be like...

That you are proud not to be "like that"...

Funnily enough, when we evaluate the subconcious, the truth always comes out...

It is alot of fun to learn more about yourself..

So don't get annoyed or frustrated when someone "triggers" you..

Get excited..

They are opening up an amazing opportunity for you to learn more about YOU!!!
